HOW TO START AN ONLINE PRACTICE- FOR THERAPISTSÂ
Are you a therapist interested in learning more about doing online sessions? If you are currently “Skyping” with clients, did you know that this not considered HIPPA-compliant practice? Learn everything you need to know about how to offer online sessions in this experiential, one-hour training session, held online. You will actually experience what your client would experience in this training session. Topics include: basic laws and ethics about online practice including HIPPA requirements, informed consent, patient care, technical considerations, online payment, malpractice insurance, billing, advertising your online services, record keeping and continuing education. The fee for this training is $175 and includes documents on ethics and best practices as well as a sample consent for online treatment and business associate agreement.
